Sore Eye and Bad Skin

Sheneice is suffering from sore eyes, we brought her to the GP last Sunday and was given eye-drop to treat her eyes. According to the GP, there's an outbreak of sore eyes lately. He had seen a few sore eyes patients already. I just spoke to my sister yesterday, apparently my brother-in-law has also contracted sore eyes too.

We have also consulted the GP about the skin under Sheneice's eyes, that area has always been very sensitive since she was very young. Seen her pd a few times regarding her skin but was always given moisturisers which is of not much help. I've asked the GP for some cream to treat her skin. But Sheneice's skin has become too scaly already, it gives her the biting sensation whenever I apply. But she did not resist it the way she does for the eye-drop because it's cream form. Cream, to her is to make her more pretty because she sees me slapping moisturisers on my face everyday and I told her it will make Mummy more pretty. Hee Hee...

Back to her eye, I am having difficulties in applying the eye-drop. The GP told me I don't have to force open Sheneice's eye, just drop at the corner of her closed eyes. But Sheneice seems to know what is coming, she resisted me vigorously. Even when I tried to apply after she's asleep, she will still wipe it away with her hands. It's so worrying, in this way, her sore eyes will not be treated. I'm thinking of requesting for cream medication from the GP instead. It would be much easier to apply cream on her, I just have to tell her "See. Apply cream like Mummy, pretty?" She will immediately drop her defence.

Mmm... I shall visit the GP tonight.

Saturday at home

I was taking my shower when I heard Sheneice crying outside the bathroom. Later then I found out that she wanted to swim. As Daddy had to work and I do not wish to disappoint her, we just had to make do with such arrangement.

After awhile, she said she was tired and sat on the side of the tub. I turned to reach for the towel and when I turned around, she was happily resting her head on the water. This girl is full of mischief.

Mother's Day Celebration and 1st Pet

We celebrated Mother's Day with Por Por at Po Kee Eating House on the 12th May 2006. As it was a 10 course dinner, it took awhile for the dinner to finish. Little Sheneice will not have the patience to sit and eat through the dinner, therefore, Daddy brought her out of the restaurant for a walk. When they came back, they brought new friends.

13th April 2006 - Mother's Day Celebration with Granny at 2nd Gugu's house.

Upon reaching, we realised that everyone was going for a swim. We thought it will not be a good idea for Sheneice to swim since the weather was rather cloudy. However, when we saw everybody changed for the swim, how can we deprive her from all the fun. Since it was an impromptu decision, got to borrow the swim wear.

The swimming pool in 2nd Gugu's apartment is 3/4 sheltered, therefore the water is definitely colder than the normal pool. But the plus point is that we don't have to worry about sunburn.

Though there are so many kinds of floats, Sheneice still prefer to be free in the water.


We were the 1st to leave the pool as it was really too cold for Sheneice to handle. While everybody were still swimming, Sheneice prepared dinner. :D


New fashion


It was getting late and we decided to let Sheneice shower at 2nd Gugu's house so that she can go straight to bed after she reached home. However, when we stepped out of the bedroom, Sheneice saw the Cousins holding a homemade Milo ice-cream in their hands. Needless to say, how can she miss it.

As she had already showered, Granny said: "Aiyoh, just showered and it's going to get dirty again". Upon hearing this, Sheneice lied down on the floor to eat her ice-cream. In this way, even if it drips, it won't drip on her pyjamas.

When Cousin Cleo had finished hers, Sheneice changed target.

Very fun very happy. She just love the company of all the cousins.

Last Weekend

Whenever we've nowhere to go, we will bring Sheneice for a swim since she loves swimming. Daddy's good friend which is also Sheneice's Godfather joined us as well.

Kolis is leaving

Kolis just informed me that she decided not to renew her contract with us, meaning to say, we've to start looking for childcare centre for Sheneice real soon.

Kolis said Sheneice is too bored at home, she hope we can send Sheneice to some schools for her to get to know some friends. But if we send Sheneice to school, she will have nothing to do at home which she feel that it's a waste of our money. Furthermore, she's going back to get married. For the latter, I think we should not hold her up any longer.

We've been wanting to send Sheneice to some playgroup as she is really bored at home alone with Kolis. However, we've not been seriously source for a centre and have been procrastinating the search. Now that Kolis is leaving us in 2 months time, looks like we've to look for a suitable centre real soon.

As it was really too sudden for us, at the moment, I can only think of sending Sheneice to a childcare centre. I've heard good comments about Learning Vision Childcare Centre. I just checked their website and learnt that there's one at Apollo Centre which is just nearby my office. So Monday, I will go and gather more information.
