Dolphin Lagoon and Underwater World

Daddy and I took leave today and had intended to bring Sheneice to the Zoo since it has been a long time since we last went. However, our appointment with our contractor took quite awhile and it was rather late for the zoo. Therefore, we decided to go to the Underwater World instead.

Here we go!


We chanced upon the Dolphin Lagoon and thought we might as well go for the Dolphin show first. We realised there is a package ticket for both Dolphin Lagoon and Underwater World, better still, since we are going there anyway.

It was a long wait for the show to start, see how bored Sheneice looked.


We decided to do something while we wait, we...

fed and chased peacocks.

However, Sheneice found something more interesting than just chasing peacocks,

Playing with the sand. Simple pleasure.

The show finally begins. The otter performed first, followed by the dolphins. But Mummy's phototaking skill is "so good" that I only managed to take these photos, the rest are just blurred. Sorry, Sheneice. Next time, Daddy will take photos, ok?

Next, we went to the Underwater World.


There's a touchpool where we can get upclose and personal with some of the underwater creatures.


"Come, Mummy catch a Mermaid for you."


"Sorry, no mermaid. Starfish, can?"


Daddy's turn to catch.

Sheneice, you are so sweet. You were so afraid that the creatures in the water will harm Daddy and Mummy, you kept pulling our hands away when we reached into the pool, we have to reassure you that it was safe.

Thereafter, we started our journey to the Underwater World.


I think of all, you like jellyfish most. You asked to see jellyfish again before we left the tunnel.


Saying bye bye to Nemos.


With that, it ended our trip to the Underwater World. We left Sentosa happy and satisfied.

Complaints?? :D

Last Friday, when I was having my dinner, Nai Nai called and complained about Sheneice.

Case No. 1

When Nai Nai was having a sambal bun as breakfast, Sheneice asked Nai Nai for some. However, eventually Sheneice took the whole bun from Nai Nai. When Nai Nai asked Sheneice to return her the bun, this is what she said:-

"Ssss... La la (spicy in Mandarin). Hot."

In the end, she had the whole bun to herself. "La la" indeed :D


Case No. 2

In the afternoon, Nai Nai brought Sheneice and Indah for a walk. Nai Nai gave Sheneice a keropok to munch while walking. Nai Nai asked Sheneice for a bite, Sheneice looked at the keropok, think for awhile and replied:-

"Spoilt, Spoilt" while pointing at the keropok and continued to munch on it, leaving Nai Nai blurred with Sheneice's answer.


Sheneice, aren't you mischevious?? However, very innovative reaction from you, my sweet darling

Sheneice and Indah

Though Sheneice can't accept Indah like the way she accepts Kolis, I guess both are already trying their best.



After a game of bowling, I managed to take my super model with such professional poses minus the pacifier & pillow. :D

We Miss Kolis

Kolis had finished her 2 years contract with us, she had gone back to Indonesia on 3rd July 2006. It had been already 2 weeks, I thought I will not miss her but I do.

Kolis and my new helper, Indah. Taken on the night before she returns to Indonesia.


Kolis's flight was very early, 7.20 am. We have to wake up real early to send her to the airport. I was planning not to bring Sheneice to the airport but I think Kolis would want to hug Sheneice for the last time before she returns to Indonesia.

She carried Sheneice all the way from home to the airport, only to let go when it's time for her to check in.

When the time was nearer to check-in, her eyes were all red. She was trying so hard to hold back her tears, so am I.

Kolis, thank you for your help for the past 2 years, thank you for taking good care of Sheneice. Your help is so much appreciated. Hope to see you again in 2 years time.

No updates??!!

Daddy has to bring the laptop to work everyday and he's returning home late recently. When he's back, I'm either asleep or too lazy to start up the laptop therefore no updates.

Kolis has gone back to Indonesia on the 3rd July 2006, very sad. Initially, Sheneice was not used to the new helper so I was in hot demand. Lately, things are getting better at home but I'm still in hot demand. :D

Photographs are all in Daddy's laptop so I can't upload the photos cos right now I'm blogging in the office. :p Anyway, just something sweet that happened yesterday.

I was swinging my towel after my shower and Sheneice was sitting on the sofa with Daddy when she saw me swinging my towel. She pointed at me and said "Naughty girl", I pretended that I'm angry and going to get her. She screamed and hide under Daddy's arm. We continued with the actions for a while before we left the house.

When in the lift, she point at my nose and said "naughty girl". Then I point at her nose and told her "Mummy is a good girl, Sheneice is a naughty girl." On hearing this, she point at my nose again and said "naughty girl". I pretended that I'm angry and pout my lips. She looked at me, rest her head on me and said "big hug!". My heart just melted.
