Sheneice's 1st Excursion

Sheneice's school had arranged an excursion to the Kids' Kampong in Pasir Ris. It was Sheneice's 1st excursion and we were so excited about it.

The kids were given a fishing net and a bucket each for some fish-catching at the pond.

Thereafter, we went for the animal show where the kids are allowed to feel the small animals. Sheneice had no problem with that; in fact, she was waiting rather impatiently for her turn.

The last program of the day was to feed the animals i.e. the fishes, gooses, chickens and rabbits.

Daddy's 33rd Birthday

It was Daddy's 33rd birthday but now all our birthdays are not meant to make us happy, so long as Sheneice is happy, we're happy.

Our notice board was filled with birthday wishes. Kakak held Sheneice's hand and wrote many birthday wishes for Daddy. Though the spelling are slightly out but we still managed to make out the words.

After we left zoo, we went to Kiddy Palace as Daddy had wanted to buy a battery-operated car for Sheneice to drive around. However, we heard from Tua Peh that there are battery-operated car with remote control for adults to control the car. On enquiry, we were informed that Kiddy Palace do not have such cars so we bought alot of other toys to make up to her before we head home to have dinner with Gugu, Jie Jies, Tua Ng and Charlotte.

After the last visit to Palawan Beach, I kept thinking of bringing Sheneice back since she enjoyed so much.

Pails and spades are the essentials :D


Guess it wasn’t much fun just building sand castles; burying Daddy with sand was more accomplishing


The last time Sheneice did not hesitate in jumping into the water. This time, she was very apprehensive. After much persuasion, we still could not get her to step into the sea-water.

That was the furthest she went.

Since she was not in the mood for some beach fun, we just have to change our target.


We spent the rest of the morning at the fountain before we proceeded for lunch.

April 2007

We are back again. This round, we went with Da-Jiu and Jiu-Ma at the later part of the day as it will not be that sunny.

Probably there were Da-Jiu and Jiu-Ma around, Sheneice jumped into the water without much persuasion (to show off, I guess)

What a spoilsport! It started to rain when we were having so much fun. We just had to pack up and leave for dinner. We drove all the way to Changi Village and had "Cze Char" for dinner.

On our way to the zoo, it looked like it was going to rain. As we have defaulted our promises towards her a few times due to the last min downpour, this time even if it rains we will keep our promises.

Everytime we will take the tram to tour around the zoo. This time, we decided to rent the wagon instead.

Just as expected, it started to rain when we have just started our tour. We had to run all the way to the Rainforest Food Centre for shelter. We could not continue with our trip and as it was nearing Sheneice's dinnertime, we made our way back to the entrance and had our dinner there.

We had KFC and pizzas for dinner so Daddy asked for alot parmasan cheese to go with the pizza. So long as there's cheese in her meals, cheese will become her main course.

More Party

Uncle Leong’s 1st son celebrated his 1st birthday at Aloha Loyang on the 4th March 2007. We went there earlier to have fun at the pool.

Had wanted to take a photo of Sheneice playing together with the birthday boy, however, it was really not easy as they are so distracted by the surrounding. This was the best I could get.

It was a real tiring day for our baby.

Falling sick during CNY :(

What a good way to kick off a new year!


After the 3rd day of CNY, we spent our days in hospitals as Sheneice was down with high fever and vomitting. We rushed her to the Raffles Hospital with the thought that they have her records and Dr. Wong (her pd) will be there to treat her. Little did we know that Dr. Wong had already left the hospital and started her own practice. We still got her admitted for 3 days for treatment. However, upon discharge Sheneice don't seem to look any better.

We asked around and finally found out that Dr. Wong is now practising at Mt. Alvernia Hospital. We went to Mt. A to seek her advice on Sheneice's condition immediately and insisted on a blood test to find out what was happening to her. According to the test result, the bacteria level in her body is exceptionally high. Dr. Wong had to get her admitted for treatment.

During our stay, Sheneice had developed many ulcers in and outside her mouth causing her to have difficulties in consuming her meals which was so worrying. As days past, it was so reassuring to see her appetite coming back. On discharge, my bubbly baby is back to her old self and it's so good to see Sheneice running around again.

Reunion Dinner 2007

We had reunion dinner with Mummy’s side of family earlier to accommodate Yiyi’s schedule.

Before Yiyi came with the sparkles, Sheneice had to make do with Daddy’s leg as slide.


However when she saw the sparkles, the pictures will just do the talking.
