Mummy's fault
It has always been my style to let Sheneice learn things through exploration, I feel that she can learn while she explore. There's no point when I keep telling her that she can't do this, can't do that when she don't understand my motive at all. Might as well let her try what she wants as long as it's not life-threatening, at least when I explain she knows what I'm talking about. E.g. When most parents do not allow their kids to touch hot cups, I let Sheneice try. I also let her play with ice so that she knows what is cold. Now when I said it's hot, she know she have to be careful.
Just now, Sheneice was playing with the bedroom door. She was standing in between the door and the wall and I was standing outside the bedroom warning her to watch out for her feet. Just as I watched on, Daddy came to see what's she doing. She was stuck, her head was stuck and she was struggling. I didn't even notice a slight struggle that she put up. Daddy was shocked and out of panic, she pulled her head out with much strength and started to cry real pitifully.
I got reprimanded by Daddy, of course, for not taking good care of my own daughter. Allowing her to do such dangerous act and even more to be able to see her head stuck and didn't render any help. No... I really didn't know that she was stuck! It hurts me too to see her suffer such pain.
I'm so hard-hearted! I'm such a bad mummy! :(
