Mother's Day Gift Part 1

My Mother's Day Gift - A heartwarming self-decorated Cake by my Dearies

It was Daddy's idea and he bought all the ingredients to make a cake for me as a Mother's Day Gift. Sheneice just played along and helped in the decoration. As for me, I was not supposed to lift a finger to help them.

But they soon helped themselves with the ingredients as well :D

Nevertheless, the final product

Thank you, my Dearies...

Just for fun

No occasion, just for fun.

1st Dental Visit

I've seen children with decayed tooth at very young age and I definitely do not wish Sheneice will be one of them. She has been brushing her teeth since she was very young but I do not know if her teeth are healthy. As such, we made an appointment for Sheneice to go for her 1st dental check.

On knowing that it was her 1st check up, the dentist was already well-equipped with all the toys.

Nice goggles :D

Sheneice was very obedient and co-operative throughout the whole process.

Very soon, the check-up was over.

Results: Sheneice's teeth are very healthy.
For her good behaviour and result, the dentist awarded her with a surgical glove balloon.
My brave baby! Daddy and Mummy are so proud of you.

JB Trip

It has been a long time since we last set foot in JB. This time, we went with Uncle Lewis and Aunty Charmaine.

After we have settled our lunch, we went for Go-karting. There are some pets in the Go-Kart Centre, Sheneice had a great time playing and feeding these pets.

Very soon, it's our turn. Here goes Daddy, Uncle Lewis and Aunty Charmaine

Sheneice, Kakak and I are at at the Grand Stand giving Daddy all our support

With all our cheering and supports, Daddy did not fail us and came in 1st in position!!

After some persuasion by Daddy, Uncle Lewis and Aunty Charmaine, I went for a round too. Mummy scared the hell out of my life and undoubtedly the last to finish my round.

One more photo before we left the Centre

This was the one and only track at the Centre which we took

We went to a nearby shopping centre to do some shopping after we left the Go-Kart Centre. For a price of RM2, Sheneice got on this kiddy ride for good 15 mins.

Cycling at Pulau Ubin

We've decided to do something different from what we usually do on our weekends, i.e. shopping or zoo. We went cycling at Pulau Ubin.

We were all set to go

Waiting to board the bum-boat

She was so happy and curious on her 1st bum-boat ride

We've reached!

1st thing 1st was to rent the bicycles. As Daddy was posted to Pulau Ubin during his last few months with the Police Coast Guard, we were given discount for renting the bicycles as the people there actually still recognise him.

As I do not know how to cycle, we had to rent a double bicycle with a child seat. So poor Daddy not only have to ferry Sheneice, he also have to ferry the big Mummy.

We took a rest shortly after we started our journey as the weather was too hot.

We're on our way again

Taking intermittent rest to re-hydrate ourselves

and continued with our journey

While cycling, we came to a swamp and decided to let Sheneice explore on her own

Apparently, she was not done with the running at the swamp. Sheneice continued her running at the garden right outside the swamp.

With all the running and jumping, Sheneice ended up hot and sticky :D We were also very close to Sheneice's dinnertime, we went for a wash up and prepared to return to Singapore for dinner. While I was taking out her change of clothes and towel for washing up, she ran off again.

Sheneice's 1st Excursion

Sheneice's school had arranged an excursion to the Kids' Kampong in Pasir Ris. It was Sheneice's 1st excursion and we were so excited about it.

The kids were given a fishing net and a bucket each for some fish-catching at the pond.

Fish-catching in action

Thereafter, we went for the animal show where the kids are allowed to feel the small animals. Sheneice had no problem with that; in fact, she was waiting rather impatiently for her turn.

The last program of the day was to feed the animals i.e. the fishes, gooses, chickens and rabbits.

We had our lunch before we ended our day at the Kids' Kampong

Daddy's 33rd Birthday

It was Daddy's 33rd birthday but now all our birthdays are not meant to make us happy, so long as Sheneice is happy, we're happy.

A big surprise for Daddy

Our notice board was filled with birthday wishes. Kakak held Sheneice's hand and wrote many birthday wishes for Daddy. Though the spelling are slightly out but we still managed to make out the words.

We had big breakfast to start the day

After Sheneice's nap, we went to Sheneice's favourite place.

With happy Daddy

And the animals

At various parts of the zoo

After we left zoo, we went to Kiddy Palace as Daddy had wanted to buy a battery-operated car for Sheneice to drive around. However, we heard from Tua Peh that there are battery-operated car with remote control for adults to control the car. On enquiry, we were informed that Kiddy Palace do not have such cars so we bought alot of other toys to make up to her before we head home to have dinner with Gugu, Jie Jies, Tua Ng and Charlotte.

And the cake-cutting ceremony

Jie Jies and Sheneice were doing some handicrafts after the cake-cutting ceremony

Happy 33rd Birthday! Sweet Daddy!

March 2007

After the last visit to Palawan Beach, I kept thinking of bringing Sheneice back since she enjoyed so much.

Pails and spades are the essentials :D

Guess it wasn’t much fun just building sand castles; burying Daddy with sand was more accomplishing

The last time Sheneice did not hesitate in jumping into the water. This time, she was very apprehensive. After much persuasion, we still could not get her to step into the sea-water.

That was the furthest she went.

Since she was not in the mood for some beach fun, we just have to change our target.

We spent the rest of the morning at the fountain before we proceeded for lunch.

April 2007

We are back again. This round, we went with Da-Jiu and Jiu-Ma at the later part of the day as it will not be that sunny.

Pictures of everybody

Probably there were Da-Jiu and Jiu-Ma around, Sheneice jumped into the water without much persuasion (to show off, I guess)

What a spoilsport! It started to rain when we were having so much fun. We just had to pack up and leave for dinner. We drove all the way to Changi Village and had "Cze Char" for dinner.

A very happy Sheneice after dinner
